The Holiday Inn Civic Center caters to leisure travelers with its central location and affordable accommodations. The main branch of the public library, which has free Internet access and rotating art exhibits, is two blocks away, and the Museum of Modern Art is one mile away. City buses stop outside the Holiday Inn, and other public transit options are one block away, on Market Street.
In addition to a bar and restaurant, the hotel has an outdoor pool, open year-round. The pool is situated on the fourth floor, walled off on one side by a public utilities building, but with a lovely view of a nearby twin-steepled church. The pool deck is decorated with potted bonsai trees. A self-service business center on the same floor offers a computer, printer, and photocopy machine. In the ground-floor lobby, the hotel offers a cash machine and an attractions-finder kiosk.
