International Drive Holidays.
International Drive area not only offers an abundance of hotels, resorts, condos, shopping, dining and entertainment it also gives you a wonderful location and base for your holiday. The convenient location is just ten minutes from the Walt Disney World Resort, just over an hour from Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Centre and beaches on both coasts.
Located on International Drive is The Mercado Marketplace, WonderWorks and Pointe Orlando which features a good range of quality restaurants and nightlife options as well as around 40 specialty shops. Ripley's Believe It Or Not is a great place to visit, young or old. Festival Bay Mall’s Ron Jon’s Surf Park offers the opportunity to try your hand at walking the board, despite being miles from the nearest ocean! There are many cut price designer bargains to be found at Prime and Premium Outlets.
The I-Ride Trolley is a great way to get around I-Drive. The Main line travels almost the entire length of International Drive and the Green line begins and ends on International Drive, but also travels along Universal Boulevard making 22 stops ending at SeaWorld. Tickets can be purchased for each ride, however if you intend using the I-Ride Trolley a lot then you can purchase saver tickets.
There are many restaurants and bars located on International Drive, such as Adobe Gila's Margarita Cantina featuring live music and is known for its sizzling fajitas and specialty margaritas. Nearby, The Capital Grille serves up dry aged beef and fresh seafood on an intimate patio that is quickly becoming the place to see and be seen. Tommy Bahama Tropical Cafe & Emporium brings the tastes of the Caribbean islands to Orlando, be sure to grab a seat on the outdoor patio. Fruity umbrella drinks, nightly live entertainment and plenty of tasty Caribbean style appetizers and entrees like coconut curry chicken keep Bahama Breeze lively throughout the evening.
