The crown jewel of Walt Disney World Resort is this Victorian-themed hotel on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon; a monorail just off the lobby zips to the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot. 

This red-roofed resort exudes a romantic Victorian ambience with tea service, fine dining, and old-fashioned umbrellas on a white-sand beach; modern perks include multiple pools and a health spa.

Understated opulence starts with bell-service attendants in pastels, white shoes and knickers. The beautiful lobby reaches five stories to a Victorian ceiling adorned with three illuminated stained-glass domes, ornate chandeliers, and metal scrolls. Rooms are in the main building and in four- and five-story white-frame buildings around the swimming pool.

Though the Magic Kingdom Park is just across the water, with access to this resort's multiple restaurants and lounges, shops, childcare, two swimming pools, marina, and full-service spa, many guests never leave the hotel.
