Originally built in 1939, the Albion Hotel is one of Miami Beach's true Art Deco masterpieces, standing one block from the pedestrian-only Lincoln Road Mall, which is filled with shops and restaurants, and serves as home to a symphony orchestra, multiplex cinema and theatre. More than 50 local artists work and display their creations in the walk-in studios.
This Florida hotel has 100 guestrooms and suites, all with custom-designed fixtures and fittings. The 320-square-foot rooms are accented with Azzuri bed throws, over-sized pillows, and Mediterranean-style curtains. All rooms and suites include desks and complimentary wireless Internet access. Guestrooms also feature minimalist décor with custom wood furnishings by architect Carlos Zapata.
The Albion South Beach Hotel has a 60-foot pool and a small fitness room on the mezzanine level. Many guests walk to the beach, where watersports activities including waterskiing and parasailing are available.
