The Outrigger Beach Resort is located right on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Fort Myers,26 miles from Southwest International Airport. The hotel is two miles from Lovers Key State Park and 19 miles from the Edison and Ford estates.

The hotel provides a variety of water sports and has an outdoor pool and sundeck that face the Gulf of Mexico. Children’s activities are offered. Beach volleyball, shuffleboard, and a putting green are also available on the grounds and bicycles can be rented through the hotel.
Parasailing, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, and boating are available on the beach. The Bay Beach Golf Club is about a mile away.

Guests can search for sand dollars on the beach, splash in the heated pool or play beach volleyball and shuffleboard. Pelican's Perch offers table tennis and movies for kids. Live entertainment is featured twice weekly and wine- and-cheese receptions are held every Thursday afternoon. Guests can dine at the Deckside Café and Charley's Boathouse Grill, a local favorite for seafood.
