Southern folk want to keep a certain standard of manners, and gentlemanliness which isn’t the same as in other parts of the US. Charleston is a good example of this gentility with its sleepy old town. Visit its stunning architecture, scenery, and flowers which hide a multitude of sins beneath the politeness and cobbled streets. By hook or by crook, put on your cowboy boots and fly into Nashville Tennessee, the Country Music Centre of the world! Downtown is where you can see Elvis’ gold Cadillac, Johnny Cash’s guitar and Conway Twitty’s year book picture. There is much to entertain you in the evenings too with bars, saloons, and restaurants amongst the modernised Victorian warehouses, which make Downtown such a cool visit. The Opryland area is North East of the city where there is the vast Opryland Complex to keep you on your toes for hours.
