Head for beautiful Harvard Square Cambridge near Boston Common, the centre from which to find the main Boston attractions.

New York. New York State.
Most of the sights in New York City are around Midtown.
There are Downtown exceptions such as, The Statue of Liberty, which you can reach by ferry. Or take the subway from the South Ferry or Bowling Green stations.
Another Downtown sight is the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street..
Then Uptown is in the other direction see a show at The Apollo Theatre in Harlem.
Tribeca and Soho is a brilliant gentrified shopping district with lovely converted warehouses, restaurants, cafes and a couple of interesting museums.
Midtown East is where the staggering Empire State building rises impressively into the clouds. Being NY’s most impressive building in its skyline, you should have no difficulty in finding it.
Times Square and Theatre District on Broadway and 7TH Avenue has glittery shows and musicals. Off Broadway has the interesting plays and shows.
Be sure to visit the beautiful Embassy Theatre on the intersection between on 41st and 54th Streets.
Fifth Avenue and around on 130th has Millionaire Row which were once residential mansions which have now been converted into Museums.
Apart from that Fifth Avenue is famous for its expensive shops, such as Tiffany’s.
Trump Tower is a sight to see on Fifth Ave.
Gaze up at the extraordinary vaulted ceiling in Grand Central Terminal Station.
On the Upper West Side, walk in the Fall /Autumn in the 843 acres which is Central Park. Be stunned by the utter beauty of the colours of Autumn on the trees. Kick a path through the red and golden fallen leaves on the ground as you walk or jog on a crisp sunny day. Then look at the spectacular NY skyline beyond the treetops and the shimmering lake.
See the massive fountain the in the Middle of The Lincoln Centre Courtyard. Book to see one of the centre’s brilliant concerts or shows.
The Upper East is the area for the most exciting museums and galleries.
Take in MOMA between 5th &6th Avenues. The Museum Of Modern Art has two million pieces in its collection. View Egyptian Art, American Painting and sculpture, European art. Look out from the fantastic rooftop with breathtaking views throughout the summer.

Philadelphia’s attractions are mainly within walking distance of each other.
Begin your holiday with the L shaped National Historic Park.

Millbrae is in the heart of San Mateo Country. It is a lovely resort which sits snugly in the sunny hills between The Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay.
Nob Hill is what the name sounds like. Posh! You may be mesmerised by the sharp gradient of the climb to the top of Nob Hill to see the stunning sunsets, but remember to take in George Sterling Park which apparently has even better sunsets.
The Golden Gate is an extraordinary construction which is at the entrance of San Francisco Bay.
Have a relaxing day out with the family in Golden Gate Park, with its beautiful botanical gardens, tea gardens and boating lake.
Union Square is fun with great street performers in the form of glammed up theatre folk, cable cars and people having a good time. It is not a suitable place for young children because there are some adult entertainment venues there too.

Pike Market Downtown has many cafes, shops, restaurants and street theatre. Hear the fishmongers shouting as they sell. Buy lovely craft pieces for gifts to take home.
Find a cinema in the University area a couple of miles North of Downtown. It also has wonderful shops and cafes. The centre of the University area is Central Plaza, sometimes nicknamed Red Square because it is partly built in red brick.

A wonderful seaside resort by the Pacific Ocean near San Diego is Carlsbad. Legoland is here with 50 smashing rides ,shows and attractions.
Go on a hot air balloon ride and get an even better view of the Pacific!

Downtown San Diego is called Stingaree Street. It is beautifully renovated, full of great restaurants, coffee bars, bars, galleries, shops and good times had by all and you.
